The project is for the landscaping of an inter-block space of about 2000 m² in Zheleznik district, Stara Zagora, under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014–2021 programme (“Environmental Protection and Climate Change”). The aim is to green the site as much as possible and reduce the “urban heat island” effect.

The site slopes naturally from north to south, matching the main pedestrian flow; along it, five levelled platforms are formed, linked by ramps and steps, paved with light-aggregate concrete pavers. Benches, playgrounds for different age groups and sports grounds line both sides of the central path. An irrigation system and energy-efficient LED lighting are provided, and at the northern end a small canopy with photovoltaic panels for free charging of small electronic devices.

The car parks and the surfaces under the play equipment are paved with grass-joint pavers, and the gradients and paths comply with Ordinance No. RD-02-20-2 of 2021 on the accessible environment.
